Seven Dnagerous Spirit: Series 7

Introduction
The walk in Christ is not supposed to be filled with misery, troubles, suffering, unfulfilled dreams and goals and characterized by despair. On the contrary, the walk in Christ should be filled with valleys that are overtaken by mountains, lack that is filled with fullness, despair overcome by hope, sickness countered by health and poverty overridden by wealth and riches that belongs to God. However, achieving the latter is often hindered by the seven dangerous spirits, which we have analyzed in detail in previous posts. This post, the last of the seven series of the seven dangerous spirits examines the spirit of disbelieve.
The Spirit of Disbelieve
The spirit of disbelieve grows gradually. There are various causes of disbelieve in our lives including
Ø  Educational content in school that feeds us theories that contradicts the word of God such as the big bang theory and Darwin’s theory that explains the story of creation and how things  came to be
Ø  False teachers who teach doctrines that make you feel spiritually secure while in error as indicated in Ezekiel 13:1-10
Ø  When individuals have affluence, they tend to be easy prey for the spirit of disbelieve because they think they do not need God as noted in Revelations 3:18. What such people do not know is that they may be rich but the spirit of disbelieve makes them wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.
Ø  Erroneous religious beliefs as indicated by 2 Tim 3:5
Ø  In Hebrew 11: 6, it is written that without faith it is impossible to please God; As a Christian you must believe God is and He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him
If you are in doubt of what God thinks about the unbelieving, well, read Revelations 21:8. If you are a disbelieving Christian, you will be the second in line after the cowardly to be thrown into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. How sad is that? Before the murders and the witches are thrown into the fire and experience the second death, you will be heralding them! Why bother to go through what Christians go through only to lead the way to hell in the end?

Wake up and smell the coffee! Overcome the seven dangerous spirits and relish the splendor of God’s kingdom.
